Testing your research question

Use the criteria we looked at yesterday to test the quality of your research question.

If you think you have a good quality research question, the next step is to consider how you will conduct your research.

Will you use secondary resources? Are those sources available to you?

Do you need to conduct an experiment? What would that look like? Do you have access to the equipment you will need?

Will you conduct a survey? How will you do that? Who will you include in your sample/population?

Before you travel too far along the path of your research with your question, you need to make sure that it is a feasible one. If you cannot find the information you will need to answer the question, then you need to change the question.
